Space camera photographed pictures of sand dunes on the surface of the Red Planet.
Thanks to high resolution camera HiRISE, installed aboard the space satellite MRO (Mars Reconnaissance unit), you can enjoy a piece of Mars.

Satellites MRO was launched to the Red Planet August 12, 2005. He came into the orbit of Mars March 10, 2006.

Satellite MRO carries a number of scientific tools such as cameras, spectrometers, radar, used for the analysis of topography, stratigraphy, minerals and ice on Mars. Studies weather and the surface of Mars, the search for possible landing sites and a new telecommunications system paves the way for future spacecraft.

MRO telecommunications system transmits data to Earth than all previous interplanetary spacecraft together, and can serve as a powerful orbital repeater for other research programs.
