According to the official website of NASA, the discovery was made on the basis of data obtained in 2010 a space infrared telescope WISE. New galaxy was named WISE J224607.57-052635.0. In addition, US astronomers have discovered more about two dozen very bright galaxies that are visible only in the infrared. They were listed in a new class of cosmic objects.

Scientists believe that increased brightness of galaxies caused by the presence of a supermassive black hole. "These galaxies are under very intensive evolution. They attract gas and a substance that form around them wheels, heated to temperatures of millions of degrees and emit high energy, as well as the visible, ultraviolet and X-rays.
