The rapid evolution of stars

Astronomers using the Space Telescope NASA "Hubble", opened a surprising new details about the massive, rapidly aging stars, which behaves quite unique for our galaxy way. This star has received the catalog notation NaSt1, and astronomers - the nickname "Nasty 1 "(" intractable ", Eng.), may be a short-term stage of the evolution of supermassive stars.

Open for the first time a few decades ago, Nasty 1 was identified as a Wolf-Rayet star, a rapidly evolving star is much more massive than our sun. This star is losing its hydrogen-rich outer shell with high speed, exposing the red-hot to extremely high temperatures, super bright nucleus of helium.
